Back when Darwin first discussed the concept of natural selection he used it as a designer mimic- the appearance of design without the need of a designer. That still remains the foundation of modern evolutionary biology. As Mayr wrote:

First, there isn't any evidence that blind and mindless processes produced life. That means there isn't any evidence that blind and mindless processes rule evolution. From what I do know about genetic entropy is that it pertains solely to evolution by means of blind and mindless processes. In a scenario in which organisms are intelligently designed to evolve and adapt genetic entropy does NOT apply. Alan Fox is still too fucking stupid to grasp that fact.

Alan Fox is also ignorant of natural selection. Ernst Mayr said the first step of NS is the variation arises by CHANCE. THAT was also Darwin's entire point. Read Alan's ignorance:

Again, no new proteins were formed during the LTEE. No new genes. No new regulatory networks. Nothing that supports universal common descent. Even YECs are OK with the type of evolution observed in the LTEE. So the LTEE can be used to support their claims! Alan is also too stupid to understam that.

The LTEE doesn't show any design by natural selection. That's because there isn't any evidence that natural selection produced prokaryotes. There isn't any evidence that the mutations were all just chance events, as natural selection mandates. Alan Fox is just a question-begging coward.

You see E. coli have the ability to utilize citrate. It's just that in the presence of oxygen the citrate transport gene isn't expressed. So the only possible gene that could help in this situation was duplicated.

No new proteins were made. No new protein machinery has been formed. the LTEE has demonstrated the severe limitations of evolutionary processes.

Only a desperate evoTARD would think the LTEE is actually helpful to them. And only a desperate evoTARD would think the LTEE refutes genetic entropy. Enter Alan Fox, cowardly, lying evoTARD.

EvoTARDs in a Tizzy Over a Paper that doesn't Even Support Their Asinine Position

A recent paper was published claiming a Latent developmental potential to form limb-like skeletal structures in zebrafish. The paper does NOT support evolution by means of blind and mindless processes. It doesn't even support the claim that tetrapods evolved from populations of fish.

Heck, it doesn't support the claim that blind and mindless processes produced HOX genes and developmental biology.

So why do evoTARDs think this paper somehow supports them? Because they are desperate
