CO2 is not a pollutant. And we are wasting money trying to control it.

"CO2 is not a pollutant."
You are correct. A layman's definition of a pollutant is anything present (in water, air, soil) that is not normally present and has an affect on people or the ecosystem. But this is not a very good definition. Mercury is found naturally in water, but we would call the addition of more mercury, pollution.
Changing to concentration of most elements and compounds found naturally in the environment can have significant impacts. For anaerobes, oxygen is a poison, but we need it. To us sulphide is a poison, but to some organisms, it is essential.
CO2 is essential for plants. But it even needed for mammals. If you remove all CO2 from the atmosphere, we would have serious respiratory problems.
Only a fool would think that artificially increasing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere is not going to have an impact. Oh, sorry, I forgot who I was talking to.

A doubling of CO2, from 280 ppm to 560 ppm would only cause an increase of 0.6 C, if all else remained equal. And we know that a warmer Earth is good whereas a colder Earth is bad news.
Only imbeciles are climate warming alarmists- Oh sorry, I forgot who I was talking to.

Maybe we should take this discussion over to TSZ where there is not a moderation delay.
