Homeopathy That Works?

-
Homeopathy gets a lot of crap from conventional doctors. However it appears that they use some of it priciples. Vaccinationis one such example, as is a way to alleviate allergies.

With a vaccination we give the body a dose of an impotent form of the virus. With allergies we give the patient small doses of the food he/ she is allergic to.

Homeopathy basically says that the thing that cures you is the thing that ails you.

What's the point? Out of one side of our mouths we bash homeopathy and out of the other we swear by homeopathic remedies.

I just find that kind of stuff funny as hell...

That's because you don't understand vaccines and/or Homeopathy, Joe. Homeopathy is based on the unproven, conjured up premise that something can be cured by something that causes the same SYMPTOMS. Not a small amount of the same thing. Vaccines are built on real science and an understanding of the adaptive immune system. They're COMPLETELY different. (Vaccines also have to have something in them. Homeopathy is supposed to be more effective the more dilute it is, until it is just water diluted with more water.)

    Nice false accusation asshole.

Vaccines are made of stuff that causes the same symptoms. And no, homeopathy is not supposed to be more effective the more dilute it is. How dilute it is all depends on what the practitioner says.

So homeopathy says take the stuff that makes you sick in order to be cured/ not get sick. Vaccines give you the stuff that makes you sick so that you can be cured- or not get sick.

So with that they are the same- like cures like.
