Comment Moderation Enabled

On more than one occasion it has been brought to my attention via the usual evolutionitwit rant, that only anti-evolutionists have comment moderation enabled.
Well Jeffrey Shallit has that feature enabled also:
As usual, you're confused. Most ID sites (such as the DI's blog) either don't allow comments at all or (like Dembski's blog) have ruthlessly and silently deleted comments they don't agree with - even if those comments are polite and respectful.
Many pro-science, such as mine and Wesley Elsberry's, moderate comments to remove spam and advertising. You can read about my comment moderation policy here.
I find many of your comments close to the "offensive" line, but so far I have approved every single one, so I don't know what you have to complain about.
Ya see my point is that people have complained about the fact that I have my comment moderation enabled.
They say they only see that on ID and Creation sites.
I find most of your posts offensive and that is why I respond.
And all you can do is insult me when I do.
You say I don't understand and that I think that every one else is incompetent, yet you haven't provided anything but your bald assertions to "support" your original bald assertion.
But anyways, I have also explained my moderation policies.
That has not stopped people with an agenda from spreading lies.
You say that you are "pro" science- just how do you define science?
Still reacting to others instead of leading others? Shouldn't a top-notch ID mind like yours being breaking new ground instead of merely following?

So, do you or do you not approve of the DI's policy of not allowing any comments at all? Why do you think they do that?

ReplyDeleteFor example people can start their own blog and blog about the DI blogs about- either disagree, agree or just comment about it.
